Abstract
Alpine standard nutrient solutions (ASS-A and -B) were selected for more suitable hydroponic culture media to produce and supply the healthy seed potatoes. AAS-B was better than ASS-A or Yamazaki solution in the number of tubers and total yield of potatoes. And the plant height and the top fresh weight were highest at the ASS-B, whereas tuber formation was slowed. In particular, diseased or enlarged lenticels decreased and healthier seed potatoes were produced by oxygen-generator. Therefore, modified hydroponic culture system was suggested for the multiplication of basic seed potatoes.
